| Symptom | Try this |
|---|---|
| An ad still appears on a page | Reload once so the rules apply from the start of the page load. If it persists, send us the address so a rule can be added. |
| A site says to turn off ad blocking | Click the toolbar icon to switch filtering off for that site, then reload the page. |
| Part of a page is missing | A rule matched too broadly. Click the toolbar icon to switch filtering off for that site, and send us the address. |
| Video will not start | Click the toolbar icon to switch filtering off for that site, then reload the player. |
| A pop-up you wanted did not open | Use the prompt in the corner of the page to allow it once, open it in a background tab, or trust the site permanently. |
| A pop-up got through | You may have trusted the site from an earlier prompt. Click the toolbar icon to check its state, and send us the address if it should have been held back. |
| Nothing is being blocked anywhere | A greyed-out toolbar icon means blocking is off for that site. Then confirm the extension is enabled at chrome://extensions. |
| Settings did not persist | Per-site rules are cleared when browser data for that site is deleted. Set the rule again. |
| It does not run in Incognito | Open the extension details at chrome://extensions and allow it in Incognito. |
