What gets filtered
Three mechanisms are used. Network rules stop a request before the browser fetches it; cosmetic rules hide an element that has already arrived in the page markup; in-page rules intercept a window, tab or navigation the page tries to open by itself.

Ad formats change constantly, so filtering is best effort. If something gets through, send us the page address and a rule can be added.
